Retinol

Retinol is a derivative of vitamin A with incomparable anti-aging properties. For good reason, it is an active ingredient known as one of the active ingredients whose effectiveness in cosmetology has been the most studied and proven over time.

Acting both on the surface and in depth, retinol activates cell renewal like no other active ingredient (up to six times the normal rate). It stimulates the production of collagen , elastin , hyaluronic acid , molecules forming the skin's support tissue and essential for its suppleness, elasticity, and firmness. A recognized anti-aging active ingredient, it helps maintain the thickness of the dermis and therefore the youthfulness of the skin.

It also fights against free radicals caused by UV rays, tobacco, pollution, etc. responsible for skin aging and degradation of the epidermis. Retinol also has a keratolytic action which refines the skin's surface texture and improves the complexion. It also plays a role on pigment spots by regulating melanin synthesis.
